Our client, an online store in Nairobi is looking to hire PR and Business Development Personnel. Whose main responsibility will be to grow and develop Events and Online businesses
Responsibilities
- Selling advertising space on company’s online assets
- Selling all Company Events profitably
- Scouting, securing and negotiating rates for excellent venues that are representative of the Company brand.
- Liaising with space hirers/ contractors to develop appropriate floor-plans that optimize event sales and display areas.
- Executing the Company’s SOPs for event sales
- Providing management with weekly reports on enquiries, sales performance and other work responsibilities
- Developing and executing PR activities that support the company’s marketing activities
- Engaging strategic partnerships for mutually beneficial partnerships
- Executing impactful brand presence during Company events
- Ensuring that all the logistical elements both before and during the event are managed with excellence
- To be guardian and custodian of all event related collateral
- Other functional and professional duties that may arise from time to time
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate – Bcom Marketing or Business Administration, Marketing
- Atleast 2 year’s work experience
- Must have great communication skills – good command of English spoken and written
- Demonstrated sales experience in the service industry, at least 1-2 years
- Experience in the Online Marketing environment (both web and social media)
- Experience in PR
- Proven organizational skills
- Integrity
Salary: Retainer is KES 35,000 + Commissions
